According to the newsletter, the new titles consist of Frobbles, an “ancient ball-blasting arcade game; Jewel Challenge, a follow-up to their Challenge series of games; and Galactic Mogul, an advanced space trading simulation game.”…

WildGames sent along a press release concerning PyroMania, the isometric action game currently under development. According to the press release, “While we were on schedule for our launch date, we determined that the in-game plot needs more detailed work to be enthralling enough for our players. We should rework several levels and partially rework some of the others. This requires one month of additional development and one additional week for testing. Thus, we decided to move the full version release date 37 days ahead from today.”…

Many thanks to Mark T. for letting me know that Aspyr (the developer behind Tony Hawk 2), “announced Tuesday plans to bring the game to Intel’s “Monahans” platform - the third-generation XScale chip that powers new PDAs and smartphones. Aspyr plans to publish Call of Duty 2 later this year.”…

The team at Mastersoft kindly sent us a couple of screenshots of their upcoming Kakuro game. Kakuro, for those unfamiliar with the concept, is a little like Sudoku and is also known as cross-sums. This game is currently under closed beta test and a release date and pricing have yet to be announced. …
