Just a quick note to answer a question I’ve been asked several times in the last week - Asypr has confirmed with me that Call of Duty 2 will indeed support square screen Pocket PCs. My review is well under way, but I’m snowed under with project work at the moment. (ever had that feeling that you’ve bitten off more than you can chew? I’ve just realised that it’s difficult to test a bluetooth application with just one bluetooth enabled Pocket PC…)…

It’s mostly pre-rendered stuff but gives a good impression of the upcoming game which is definitely coming to the Pocket PC at some point in the near future. Aspyr has very kindly provided us with some exclusive screenshots of their upcoming port of Call of Duty: 2 to the Pocket PC platform. The game, which will require the Intel 2700G 3D accelerator to play, is currently in early development and should move to alpha status soon. According to the website, it’s scheduled to be “first playable” in November….
