“PDA phone shipments to Hewlett-Packard (HP) are expected to help Quanta Computer fulfill 80% of its handset shipment goal for 2006, according to the Chinese-language Commercial Times. Quanta aims to ship five million mobile phones this year, with a significant contribution from the latter half, the paper cited the company as saying. Quanta declined to comment on HP orders, citing customer confidentiality, the paper noted.”
