Since SOTI Pocket Controller doesn?t work with Palm, I had to search elsewhere for a third-party screen capture application. “Phone Scoop has received more details about the i770, a new Pocket PC phone coming from Samsung. The handset is a simple clamshell design that features a butterfly key keyboard like on Sony Ericsson’s M600. Each key has two letters, pressing the left half of the key will input one letter while pressing the right will trigger the other. The large bulge in the hinge is a rotating 2 Megapixel camera with flash; it does not face the side, but…

“So you thought Sony’s VAIO U with Core Solo was pretty hot, right, but that hefty chub and feedback-free keyboard were keeping you on the fence? We understand. Well, how would you feel if Sony aced the hard disk in favor of a silent running 16GB solid-state flash drive which bumps battery life by 13%, drops the weight by 29g to 492g, massively accelerates app launches, and should cut XP’s resume and boot times by half? No, not doing it for ya?…

Jason Fuller has released the newest version of his immensely useful map and driving application, Virtual Earth Mobile. I consider it a must-have for pretty much any connected Pocket PC, and 1.64 includes search bugfixes, overlaid driving directions, pushpins, and GPS improvements.

“Big Box of Blox is a block stacking game taken to outrageous extremes! Using stylus or button controls, arrange the three-blox-high stacks as they fall. Match blox in groups of three or more, vertically or horizontally, to eliminate them - but that’s not all! Don’t just stack the blox. Smash them, blast them, mutate them or explode them in a shower of flames! Use special blox including jokers, bombs, frogs, mushrooms, fireballs and slot machines…

According to the blurb, “Flux Challenge is set in the future where underground tunnels are used for racing. These tunnels were originally used for trains and transportation but then someone figured out how to use the tunnels for levitating racing vehicles and the sport was born. At some point in the sport’s…

“PocketPC has internal mechanism intended to help user write text - word completion feature. You enable or disable it and change some its options in System > Settings > Input. But there is no way to add your word to dictionary or change words, that system learned from you (yes, it does it sometimes).”
This is a little 19KB download that is also free, enabling you to edit the word completion dictionary. I cannot tell though what versions…
