“Taiwan-based handset vendor Dopod International launched its first GPS-enabled PDA, the Dopod P100, for the Taiwan market on November 23. The P100 will also be available in China and other Southeast Asian countries in December, according to company president Jack Tong. The launch of the GPS-enabled device is part of Dopod’s plan to expand its product mix beyond its current lineup of smartphones and PDA phones, Tong stated.”
